The aim of the project, which got underway in January, is to provide an IT application solution that will support Stadtwerke Flensburg in fully implementing business processes for the energy sector (grid and supplier) for energy and accounting grid management. In this project, it is important that future investments in maintenance and further development of the ASP landscape remain foreseeable and the system adheres to the legal regulations at all times. The system should be designed with the dynamics of the market in mind and future-proof to allow it to be adapted to meet the respective number of power, heating, and water customers.
The utilities experts from arvato Systems were able to meet all of the client’s requirements during the tendering process with the SAP for Utilities-based landscape ‘ASPertise,’ leading to them being awarded the contract to implement, migrate, maintain, and further develop the solution.
