Lithium-Ionen-Akkus gehören aktuell zu den leistungsfähigsten Energieträgern. Deshalb wird diese Technologie in zahlreichen Geräten und Applikationen eingesetzt. Dementsprechend steigt auch der Bedarf an leistungsfähigen und vor allem intelligenten Ladegeräten. Ansmann hat einen neuen Li-Ion-Lader für 10 Zellen (32 oder 36V) mit einer Ausgangsleistung von 150W im Programm. Ein integrierter 1-Drahtbus bietet Kommunikationsmöglichkeiten zur Übermittlung von akkuspezifischen Daten (Spannung, Strom, Temperatur, interne Fehler). Der Weitbereichseingang (100 - 240V) erlaubt den weltweiten Einsatz dieses Ladegerätes. Das intelligente Design der Schaltung macht eine zusätzliche PFC (Leistungsfaktorkorrektur) überflüssig. Ein zusätzlicher analoger Eingang kann beispielsweise für die Akkufehler-Erkennung verwendet werden. Diese von ANSMANN eigenständig entwickelte Geräteplattform kann auf individuelle Kundenanforderungen für verschiedene Zellenanzahlen und Akkutechnologien wie beispielsweise NiCd, NiMH, Blei und Lithium-Ionen ausgelegt werden.
