AMS Technologies has released a web-based selection tool around LightPath Technologies’ aspheric optics portfolio, covering the spectral range from 350nm right up to 1600nm and supporting a focal length from 0.39mm of up to 22mm. Customers can search and filter for lenses according to certain criteria like Design Wavelength, Numerical Aperture, Focal Length, Clear Aperture and many more.

“Our long standing relationship with LightPath for aspheric lenses has already resulted in a significant number of custom OEM designs.” Stated Jan Meise, CEO of AMS Technologies. “Our next step now is to shorten customer’s design in cycle by offering the broadest available asphere portfolio with the shortest possible leadtime.”

Jim Gaynor, President and Chief Executive Officer of LightPath, commented, “AMS Technologies has been a great partner to our business. Our European customer base has grown consistently over the years and we are looking forward to an even greater level of partnership by having our complete aspheric portfolio available off the shelf with short turn arounds. European optical design engineers will benefit from this service along with the deep technical understanding from AMS consultant's technical expertise.”
