AMS Technologies announces high-power, fibercoupled isolators from Avo Photonics

Avo Photonics, industry leader in robust micro-optic design and production, now provides high-power, fiber-coupled isolators with customizable specifications as a pre-designed building block component.

The rugged laser systems are built to withstand extreme environments, from harsh temperatures and pressures to shock and vibration, allowing them to successfully operate in military and aerospace applications. With a peak power of up to 50KW and wavelengths ranging from 780 to 2100nm, the isolators can be customized to meet each client's specific needs.

"Avo's engineers have years of experience designing and producing top-of-the line, environmentally-stable optoelectronic modules," says Dr. Joseph Dallas, president and founder of Avo Photonics. "With the new isolator program, we can now rapidly produce these critical components to our customers' exact specifications without requiring NRE costs."
