AMD's APU technology
Medina Media's products are based on the new AMD Embedded G-Series platform. The AMD Embedded G-Series is the first one to integrate the new Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) that merges the computing capabilities of x86 technology with the parallel computing power of a general-purpose graphics processing unit in a single computing unit. This has enabled Mdina Media to develop low-power SFF applications that had previously only been possible with high-performance multi-core designs found in high-end workstations. Not only do these new solutions include a single- or dual-core AMD 64 processor, the highly integrated APU incorporates a powerful DirectX®11-capable discrete-level graphics and parallel processing engine. Also included is a DDR3 memory controller and a PCI Express 2.0 controller that complete the package. The AMD Embedded G-Series APUs include five different performance versions, ranging from the AMD T44R with a 1.0 GHz single-core AMD 64 CPU and 9 W max TDP to the AMD T56 N with a 1.6 GHz dual-core CPU and 18 W max TDP.

Mini-ITX fanless Embedded systems
The Fanless Embedded system (17.5 x 18 x 7.2 cm), is powered by an AMD dualcore 25 watt Processor and carries an AMD 780E, SB710 chipset with integrated ATI Radeon(TM) HD 3200 graphics. Low power consumption puts it easily within the leading group of green PCs. There is also a fan-cooled version of this model that is 2 cm lower (17.7 x 17.7 x 5 cm high). Both players are Scala Embedded certified players.
