Dr. Wolfgang Josten wurde zum 1. Januar 2013 zum Geschäftsführer der ACTEGA Colorchemie GmbH in Büdingen ernannt. ACTEGA Colorchemie gehört zur Business Line Graphic Arts von ACTEGA, einem Geschäftsbereich des Spezialchemiekonzerns ALTANA.

Dr. Wolfgang Josten hat sein Chemiestudium an der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Bonn 1994 als promovierter Chemiker beendet. Seine berufliche Karriere begann er als Laborleiter bei der Tego Chemie Service GmbH. Nach fünf Jahren wechselte er zu Siegwerk Druckfarben, wo er zuletzt als Leiter Forschung und Entwicklung/Anwendungstechnik Rollenoffsetdruckfarben tätig war. Seit 2008 zeichnete er im Vorstand der Epple Druckfarben AG verantwortlich für Einkauf, Produktion und Coloristik.

Converting Specialities: Bei Dichtungsmassen für Verschlüsse und Gläser ist ACTEGA bereits der weltweit führende Anbieter; bei den wasserbasierten Dichtungsmassen für Dosen ist ACTEGA Technologieführer. Mit diesen Produkten werden die Kontaktflächen zwischen z.B. Glas/Metall (Flaschenverschluss) oder Metall/Metall (Dosendeckel) abgedichtet. Damit bleiben das Füllgut und zum Beispiel das CO2 inner- und alle Verunreinigungen außerhalb der Verpackung.
