Nel suo ruolo, Daniel Huber sarà responsabile della gestione del personale di Alpiq a livello di Gruppo. Egli subentrerà a Renato Merz, che guida la divisione del personale di Alpiq ad interim.

Daniel Huber passerà da Alstom Svizzera, dove ha la funzione di Vice President Human Resources, ad Alpiq. In precedenza ha lavorato presso Schindler, PricewaterhouseCoopers e C&A svolgendo diversi ruoli dirigenziali internazionali nel settore della gestione del personale. Egli ha avviato la sua carriera professionale come avvocato presso C&A Svizzera.
