Alpiq was announced as a new official partner of Montreux Jazz 2010 at the Festival's Press Day today. In addition to offering financial support, Alpiq will provide practical energy efficiency solutions that will already benefit the new "Hospitality Garden" this summer and the whole event in the longer term.
Alpiq, the leading electricity trader and producer in Switzerland, also specialises in the energy optimisation of buildings through its subsidiary Alpiq InTec. Specific applications connected with that activity will be introduced as early as this summer in the Festival's new VIP area (Hospitality Garden). Other, more global solutions are being studied.
