Agfas Apogee Cloud-Technologie erhält Zustimmung der britischen Druckerei Bridson & Horrox

Nach der Übernahme von zwei weiteren Druckunternehmen entschied sich das auf der Isle of Man ansässige Unternehmen Bridson & Horrox für die Apogee Software von Agfa, um seinen gesamten Workflow in der Cloud zu rationalisieren.

Die Familie von Darren Horrox gründete 1933 das auf der Isle of Man ansässige Druckunternehmen Bridson & Horrox. Nach Abschluss der Übernahmen der in Lancashire ansässigen Unternehmen Haslam und Wallace im Jahr 2017, beschloss Herr Horrox, ein Investitions- und Rationalisierungsprogramm umzusetzen. Die Produktion in Lancashire wurde an dem modernen, zweckmäßig errichteten Wallace-Standort in Bolton zentralisiert, neue Druck- und Plattenherstellungsanlagen wurden bestellt und eine Überprüfung der Softwarelösungen des Unternehmens wurde eingeleitet.

Mit Standorten auf der Isle of Man und in Lancashire war es eines der Hauptziele, einen Vorstufen-Workflow zu finden, der es allen Standorten ermöglicht, unabhängig vom Standort des Produktionspersonals und ohne die Notwendigkeit eines internen Workflow Servers zusammenzuarbeiten.
