The .ME Registry ( a dba of doMEn d.o.o.,) the official registry operator for the new .ME domain name extension, announced that it has selected Deloitte Enterprise Risk Services and the Deloitte aligned law firm of Laga to provide audit services for its Sunrise pre-registration period for intellectual property holders.
“The .ME extension provides a valuable Web address for businesses and trademark owners with brands that have a personal interaction with their consumers,” said Predrag Lesic, the registry’s executive director. “Having a successful Sunrise launch is critical. To ensure its success, we selected Deloitte for its superior reputation and the vast expertise of the team that will manage the .ME sunrise audit process.”

The .ME registry is open until May 20th for trademark owners to register their marks. Anyone with a registered trademark or service mark applied for before June 28, 2006 is eligible to apply for a .ME domain.
Members of the public can begin applying for .ME domains during the Landrush period, which opens on June 6. Real-time registrations will commence on July 17.
