New Website Reinforces Aegis Europe's German Market Commitment

Buckinghamshire, UK, (PresseBox) - Aegis Europe has launched a new German language version of their website, reinforcing their commitment to Germany and its outstanding position within the European EMS industry. Aegis' Manufacturing Operations Software (MOS) is a sophisticated toolset allowing manufacturers to bring speed, control and visibility to their entire production process. The new website shows prospective users quickly, easily and in their own language what Aegis can achieve for their particular factory. The site is just as valuable to existing customers seeking additional software modules, either to meet changing demands or to exploit new opportunities arising within their own marketplace.

The German electronics industry features players in automotive, industrial, aerospace, defense, medical, control and instrumentation, high-end telecommunications and other areas. Supporting these with value-added services such as EMS is considered as a core competency and requirement for success within the German market. Flexibility in manufacture, supply and service, and the ability of the EMS provider to respond to changes in expected demand is key to maximising the OEM's profitability. This is equally true whether the change is to increase production in response to better market performance, or to cut back because of lower sales.

"Germany is a key market for Aegis Europe's expansion and we continue to see a keen interest from potential customers in our products," says Aegis Europe MD, Daniel Walls. "The new website should also prove to be a useful resource, giving our customers the information they require in their own language, enabling them to make informed decisions when purchasing additional Aegis Software modules and products."

Aegis Software

Aegis systems provide hi-tech manufacturers improved speed, control, and visibility of all aspects of factory operations so they can do more with less. Today, manufacturers must maintain fewer assets, but achieve more utilization. They require less cost, but faster product launches and reporting, as well as less overhead, but total traceability. The Aegis Manufacturing Operations System (MOS) supports these goals, and delivers them in a way that defines and contains the investment required to complete the full system deployment.

The Aegis system speeds process planning and launch, controls shop floor materials, delivers all documentation paperlessly, tracks and controls the process, manages test and quality, and makes everything traceable and visible through built-in reporting, analytics and real-time dashboards. Aegis provides one system on one database-created, deployed, and supported by one vendor. The company improves manufacturing operations in more than 1,000 installed sites worldwide, and is the preferred software partner to more than 36 of the leading manufacturing equipment suppliers. Aegis solutions offer unique benefits to manufacturers in electronics assembly, medical equipment/device, defense/aerospace, and automotive markets. A Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Aegis consistently leads in customer satisfaction and value by providing deployment, integration, and support of its systems entirely through direct worldwide offices and staff - a claim validated by ten consecutive years of customer satisfaction awards.
