The presentation reviews the principals of MBSE, with a focus on how MBSE enables frontloading of adaptive systems, based on system synthesis and mechatronic system architecture optimization prior to detailed design and development. Simulation technologies and methods to support such application of MBSE are summarized, including the challenges to adopt the application in industrial context, and illustration of industrial application in automotive industry.”.
