LD Systems has once again implemented its 'pro audio in motion' philosophy: the ultra-compact complete PA system DAVE 8 Roadie with an integrated 3-channel mixer is now available. Extremely easy to transport and with impressive features, the 2.1 system's sheer versatility and astounding performance impress during mobile use.
The DAVE 8 Roadie features three different inputs, which can be used simultaneously: the connection panel offers the formats XLR, jack, RCA and mini-jack for a variety of combinable signal sources, such as a microphone, keyboard, guitar, PC, MP3 player or mixer. The volume of the microphone, line and Hi-Z inputs is individually adjustable. A subwoofer volume knob can be used to perfectly balance sub and satellites. A phase reverse switch, Speakon compatible speaker outputs and the power switch with on/off display round off the features.
A class AB power amp module in the band-pass subwoofer powers the DAVE 8 Roadie system components with a 700 W peak total output. Short circuit and surge protection circuits together with an integrated limiter ensure reliable, safe functioning. The subwoofer's 8" driver produces a precise bass range with an excellent pulse response, while the satellites with two 4" speakers and a 1" driver in D'Appolito configuration provide accurate mid-range and treble.
The crystal-clear sound, a further frequency response of 45 Hz - 19 kHz, the satellites' 60° x 60° dispersion and the 123 db maximum sound pressure make the system the perfect solution for multimedia presentations, small events, solo entertainers, mobile discos, DJ and keyboard monitor systems, companies, schools, home recording sessions and powerful listening pleasure at home.
