‘A Summer’s Tale’ proved worthy of its name. For the event, which is nestled in an idyllic forest and moor landscape presented much more than “just” a top-class music programme from August 10-13. The cultural summer fairy tale south of Hamburg also included yoga, cooking, dancing, acting, canoeing, slackline balancing and many more activities. “Try out things in beautiful nature” is part of creative happenings organisers’ festival philosophy.
This philosophy also extends to the top-class music programme. On several stages, around 12,000 visitors enjoyed shows from international stars spanning several different music genres. The festival’s highlights included shows by Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Garbage, Amy McDonald, Nada Surf, Sigur Rós, Heather Nova, Billy Bragg, Neil Finn and Parov Stelar.
At various shows, the new Gravity® stands, an Adam Hall Group brand, were deployed. Tobias Lange, Managing Director of the audio and event technology company PM Systemhaus, which was responsible for the production: “‘A Summer’s Tale” is a very special festival. The aesthetic Gravity® stands matched it perfectly.” In addition to the visual advantages, Lange was again fond of the possibility to personalise the Gravity® stands: “The colour code system with the so-called ‘G-Rings’ make your job easier. At a glance I can see whether the stand is used for drums or the vocal mic. A very helpful detail.”
