“There are times when we have a different band here each day of the week, and not all of them bring their own equipment,” says Peter Späth, who is responsible for the venue’s stage technology. “The bands come from all over Europe, America and even Africa. In those cases, you just have to be able to rely on the stands.”
The technician is already convinced of this after the first concert by Reggae artist Ami: “The stands are stable, offer the best grip for microphones and instruments and can be quickly and easily adjusted by the musicians. I especially like the additional screw on the top of the microphone arm.” With the G-Rings, one can even add interesting spots of colour on stage, says Späth – or even customize the stands to the band’s stage outfit.
Until the summer break, several local and international bands will perform on Milla’s stage. These include Beathotel (14.7.), Lilié (15.7.), Groundswimmer (16.7.) and Matthew And The Atlas (23.7.). At the end of August, the concerts will continue with Karl Hector And The Malcouns (20.8.), 5/8erl in Ehr’n (17.9.) and the monthly newcomer contest Milla Song Slam.
