MIRROR IMAGE AG, a Swiss corporation which owns U.S. Patent Nos. 7,589,893 and 7,455,412, numerous other patents worldwide and pending patent applications for the "Mirror TV" product segment (the "Patents"), ad notam AG, a German corporation and a pioneer and developer of innovative designer mirror technology, the exclusive licensee of the Patents, and ad notam LLC, a New York limited liability corporation and the exclusive licensee of ad notam AG for the Patents in North and South America, together with their Affiliates (being referred to herein collectively as "ad notam") and Majestic Mirror & Frame LLC, a Florida limited liability corporation ("Majestic"), a company with a line of mirrors, lit mirrors, framed mirrors and mirror TV´s, announced today that the parties entered into a mutually beneficial agreement to better position themselves within the U.S. market by further exploiting ad notam’s Patents and Majestic’s relationships within the hospitality industry.
The Parties have entered into a license and supply arrangement. As part of the agreement, Majestic will use its leadership status as a supplier to the hospitality industry market to supply MIRROR IMAGE AG’s patented mirror displays and at the same time, Majestic will license the Patents to cover its other TV mirror display products. The forging of this new alliance underscores the value of ad notam’s intellectual property, including its pioneering mirror display Patents. ad notam will be providing Majestic a line of products with special hospitality channel pricing to support Majestic with ad notam’s technology and products, including the ad notam line of advanced low voltage and DOG (“direct on glass”) gapless viewing solutions. The agreement addresses Majestic’s past use of the Patents in relation to Majestic’s mirror TV’s and displays and reflects that Majestic acknowledges the value of ad notam’s intellectual property, including its Patents. In addition, ad notam granted Majestic a license under the Patent rights covering Majestic’s future sales of mirror TV’s and displays. The specific terms of the contract are confidential.
Majestic is pleased that it will be able to acquire superior technology products from ad notam to support its customers and be able to offer ad notam’s patented mirror TV’s and displays as its authorized licensee.
