ACI Associate Programme provides clients with access to industry experts for high-level consultancy

(PresseBox) (Watford, UK, )
ACI meets customer needs for technical, business and industry expertise in response to regulatory changes such as SEPA and the Payment Services Directive

ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading international provider of solutions for enterprise electronic payment systems, today announced the launch of its Associate Programme to provide clients with strategic business and operational consultancy as well as technical advice and assistance in Europe. The Associate Programme will help financial services organisations improve efficiencies and performance across a wide range of business lines in an environment of changing regulatory requirements, such as the Payment Services Directive (PSD).

The Associate Programme uses senior individuals with experience from major financial institutions to complement ACI's proven experience in delivering payment software solutions. It will initially focus on payments and fraud, reflecting banks' current priorities. ACI's fraud consultancy, for instance, will offer financial institutions the opportunity to set up or review their existing fraud management practices, drawing on the wealth of experience within the programme.

Bob Mackman, director of solution services at ACI Worldwide (EMEA) comments: "The Associate Programme consists of professionals with years of hands-on experience across various financial sectors. Through this network, we will give our clients access to top-quality industry expertise tailored to their current needs and long-term strategic goals. In today's environment our customers need business solutions and advice combined with industry expertise to ensure that they successfully meet the demands of the highly regulated market in which they operate."

Bob Lyddon, a member of the Associate Programme and reviewer of the PSD adds: "ACI's Associate Programme offers expertise that combines an understanding of individual clients' business operations with a deeper knowledge of industry regulations and market drivers. The upcoming PSD, for example, which mandates that all 27 EU countries - plus the 4 other EEA countries on a voluntary basis - must create a harmonised framework for SEPA payment services, will require careful preparation and a review of a company's individual products and services. The Associate Programme is designed to support and guide financial institutions through such processes and industry requirements."
