You can now check out what’s going on in Germany wherever you are, as Young Germany (YG) – the website initiated by the German Federal Foreign Office for international high potentials – is pleased to announce the launch of its new mobile service. At http://mobile.young-germany.de the YG website is now presented in an easy on the eye mobile format. Even the multimedia elements including podcasts and videos can be viewed from mobile phones and smartphones.
“With the expansion of our offering we are meeting the needs of our international users and fulfilling the demands of an increasingly converging media landscape,” said Young Germany Editor in Chief Peter Hintereder.
The technical implementation was carried out by Rhein-Main.Net (www.rhein-main.net), the multimedia subsidiary of Societäts-Verlag in Frankfurt am Main.
Young Germany is an Internet partner of large German organizations, such as the Goethe-Institute, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Helmholtz Association and many others. Young Germany cooperates with 44 partners in all – these include XING (www.xing.com), the F.A.Z.-Hochschulanzeiger, www.jobstairs.de und www.wg-gesucht.de.
