Acando publishes PIM Connector in e-Spirit Marketplace
The solution enables providers to display their product data directly on Web sites, POS, and the printed catalog production, but the data needs only to be manually maintained centrally in PIM. “Changes to descriptions, prices, and so on, take effect in real time and the end customers are given tailored information on all channels , regardless of whether they are using point of sale or the Internet,” this is how Acando product manager Klaas Klaassen explains the added value of the solution.
The Acando PIM Connector for Informatica is an expansion module for the FirstSpirit content management system from e-Spirit AG. It enables you to use a plug-in to edit the direct search in PIM from the editing system. Using the module, the data is transferred to the Web site, mobile apps, POS solutions, and printed catalogs and can be expanded from CMS with more Web content, like application descriptions. This way, the PIM Connector enables more effective cooperation between marketing and product management and greatly shortens the processes involving coordination and release.
