Unlit houses attract the attention of burglars, in particular in the gloomy autumn and winter season. The Secvest wireless socket FU8240 makes intelligent control of electric blinds or lamps possible. The appliance to be switched on is plugged into the wireless socket, which is then simply plugged into a normal power socket. If the wireless socket is activated by the alarm control panel after an alarm or according to a schedule, power flows to the connected appliances. For example, escape routes can be automatically lit up in the event of a fire alarm. An integrated switch also allows the wireless socket to be operated manually. An LED indicates whether the socket is active or inactive.
Equipped with a safety plug, the Secvest wireless socket is capable of reception on the radio frequency reserved for the security sector (868.6625 MHz). There are thus virtually no limits to the wireless connection of lamps and other devices through walls and doors.
Availability
The Secvest wireless socket FU8240 is due to go on sale from mid November 2010.
