Real-time spectrum analysis potential redefined

World's first 6 GHz USB spectrum analyser with 245MHz True IQ Streaming

(PresseBox) (Strickscheid, )
With its SPECTRAN® V6 X, Aaronia is setting new standards in real-time spectrum analysis. While an acquisition bandwidth of 40 MHz was previously standard, Aaronia has developed the world's first 6GHz USB spectrum analyser with 245 MHz true I/Q streaming, thus increasing the real-time bandwidth by six times. Also record breaking is the small POI (Probability Of Intercept) of up to 10ns, so the SPECTRAN® V6 X captures signals that are 1,000 times shorter than conventional spectrum analysers. These usually reach their limits at a minimum signal duration of 100 µs for 100 percent probability of detection. In addition, an integrated vector signal generator/tracking generator with a modulation bandwidth of up to 120 MHz (opt. 245 MHz) is used in the SPECTRAN® V6 X, which considerably increases the range of operation.

With its latest spectrum analysers, Aaronia continues its successful SPECTRAN® series of high-performance real-time spectrum analysers in the 6th generation. With a sweep speed of over 1THz/s, the SPECTRAN® V6 X shortens the cycle time of the currently fastest spectrum analysers by a factor of 40. With this, Aaronia once again sets a new benchmark in the USB compact class segment.

In addition, it is possible to cascade any number of devices to achieve an even higher real-time bandwidth. For example, four SPECTRAN® V6 X units are sufficient to achieve a real-time bandwidth of 1GHz.

The spectrum analyser comes with the latest version of the RTSA Suite PRO software. It is currently the most powerful and one of the most multifunctional spectrum analysis software solutions on the market and leaves no wishes unfulfilled. The number of visualisation and analysis options is constantly being expanded thanks to the ongoing further development of the software. Aaronia continuously provides updates in the download section created especially for this purpose. This is supplemented by the SPECTRAN® V6 Forum, where all the latest information on the RTSA-Suite PRO software is always available.

In this way it is ensured that the supplied software optimally supports the powerful and robust hardware. For example, the RTSA-Suite PRO software is suitable for the simultaneous use of several SPECTRAN® V6 X units. The stackable aluminium housing facilitates the parallel use of several units.

Aaronia AG

Aaronia AG is a technology company located in Strickscheid in the Eifel / Germany.
The company was founded in 2003 by Thorsten Chmielus and mainly produces spectrum analysers based on patented spectrum analysis processes. In 2004 the first Spectrum Analyser was produced and delivered. In 2008, the next generation of spectrum analysers was presented with the V4 series, which set a world record in handheld sensitivity of DANL -170dBM (Hz). In 2016, Aaronia launched the Spectran V5 series, the world's first and only handheld real-time spectrum analysers. The frequency range was extended from a maximum of 9.4GHz up to 20GHz for the V5 series.
The present object of the company is the development, trade and distribution of measuring instruments, technologies and rights in the field of low and high frequency measurement technology, robotics, as well as the shielding of low and high frequency fields of any kind and basic research in the field of communications and measurement technology; furthermore, the construction of own circuitry and measurement methods especially for the development of extremely sensitive and accurate high frequency measurement technology.
