3M Fall Protection launches new engineered horizontal lifeline

(PresseBox) (Neuss, )
3M Fall Protection, an expert in fall protection equipment, has launched a new engineered solution for work at height. The 3M DBI-SALA 8mm Permanent Horizontal Lifeline can be used for either work restraint or fall arrest and is suitable for multiple applications. It allows users complete freedom of movement to carry out their work uninterrupted, in a continuous straight line and around corners, provided a suitable structure is available for connection of the lifeline.

The system’s versatile design allowing wall, floor and overhead applications, is best suited to modern building projects, refurbishments and industrial settings.

Depending on system configuration, it can support multiple workers, allowing a team of people to carry out tasks at height flexibly and safely. Stainless steel components provide long-term corrosion resistance, making this a robust and functional fall protection solution, whilst a new tensioning tool helps reduce installation time and cost.

The patented energy absorbing technology provides predictable linear, high capacity performance, whilst a new free cloud based calculation software ensures extra support for this system.

The 8mm Permanent Horizontal Lifeline, from 3M is fully supported by a calculation software package which enables the user to build and specify the system to their projects, accurately calculate fall distances and produce a full technical reports.

The 8mm Permanent Horizontal Lifeline, from 3M, is part of the renowned DBI-SALA brand family and has all the qualities of the products featured in this range, focusing on quality, mobility and safety.
