Zum Beispiel bei der Domain sho-s.com: Je nachdem, ob der Buchstabe p, e oder w an die Stelle des Bindestriches gesetzt wird, verwandelt sich der Domainname in shops.com, shoes.com oder shows.com. Auf dieselbe Weise wird aus sh-pping.com entweder shopping.com oder shipping.com.
Die 2in1domains besitzen zwei entscheidende Vorteile: Sie sind flexibel einsetzbar und – beinahe noch wichtiger – sie sind noch verfügbar.
