2E mechatronic GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized company with around 65 employees, which manufactures mainly injection moulded customized connectors and housings as well as Sensors and MIDs (Molded Interconnect Devices).
In cooperation with the Hahn-Schickard-Association, Stuttgart and MicroMountains Applications AG, Villingen-Schwenningen, 2E developed a new fluidic-based 360° inclination sensor. The Sensor combines all benefits of other available models.
The accuracy lies at 0.1˚/fs.
This system compensates automatically for temperature swings and lateral inclinations of less than +/- 30˚, which results in an angle error of less than +/- 0.05˚.
The possible areas of application are as varied as the sensor itself. Advantageous application possibilities can be found everywhere, whether in construction measurement technology, in special vehicle construction, in mechanical engineering or in medical technology, anywhere in fact the application would be feasible.
