Zum neuen Jahr hat die 1&1 Internet AG ihre WebHosting-Pakete einer Frischzellenkur unterzogen.

Alle WebHosting-Pakete ab 1&1 Home enthalten ab sofort die Version 11 SE der beliebten
Bildbarbeitungs-Software Ulead PhotoImpact und den Ulead GIF Animator 5. Die beiden Profi-Pakete 1&1 Business Pro und 1&1 Professional sowie die 1&1 Managed-Server bringen außerdem die bei ambitionierten Homepage-Gestaltern bewährte Design-Software Dreamweaver MX 2004 mit. Das Einsteiger-Paket 1&1 Website enthält ab sofort Ulead PhotoImpact 10 SE.

Fortgeschrittene Anwender werden sich über die neue MySQL-Version 5 freuen, die 1&1 jetzt als einer der ersten Webhoster für alle 1&1 Hosting-Pakete zur Verfügung stellt. Wahlweise kann aber auch weiterhin MySQL 4 verwendet werden. Somit kann jeweils diejenige Version ausgewählt werden, die von der
Anwendung gefordert wird. Neu ist an MySQL 5, dass jetzt auch einige businessrelevanten Funktionen enthalten sind, die beispielsweise das Arbeiten mit Abfragen erleichtern.
