As the name suggests, the MOVE Series is a classic for use in vehicles of all kinds. Special transformers, optional batteries and numerous modules for mobile applications (3G/4G, GPS) ensure smooth operation in every imaginable vehicle. Thanks to passive heat management and particularly robust construction, usage within an extended temperature range of-40°C to 70°C is no problem. With the EN50155 and EN50121 certifications, the MOVE Series Mini-PCs are also suitable for rail transport.

Super Performance
Thanks to the Intel Core i5-4300U (Haswell) processor with a clock speed of 2 x 1.7GHz (max. 2 x 2.9GHz) and the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 card, the spo-book MOVE QM87 is right at the front of the pack in terms of performance. Resolution of 3200x2000@60Hz is possible via the DisplayPort. With up to 16 gigabytes of RAM, multitasking with multiple parallel applications is likewise no longer a problem.

Mini-PC with Masses of Content
The inner workings of the typically compact industrial PCs provides a few surprises, with numerous options that propel vehicle computing to a new level. In the rugged and fanless metal casing measuring 250x55x150mm, there’s space for up to two HDDs or SSDs, each with a maximum of 960GB storage capacity. Storage media is placed in hot-swap enabled drives and can always be connected to RAID 0 or 1.
In the 4 Mini-PCIe slots, modules for mobile networking (3G/4G), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS can be used. Thanks to the dual SIM slot, it’d even possible to use two completely separate mobile networks. As a result, there’s a host of new possibilities for use in mobile environments. An optional internal battery is also available. With this, a bridge of up to 10 minutes of emergency operation is possible.

Great Connectivity
Externally too, the spo-book MOVE QM87 has a lot to offer. In addition to the 9-36V DC Wide Range input typical of Vehicle Solutions, numerous connections are available. These include four USB ports, two of the current 3.0 standard, a 4 in/4out DIO port as well as four COM ports, of which two are RS-232/422/485 and two are RS-232. On request, one COM port can be replaced by a CAN bus.
Dual Intel Gigabit LAN ports with PXE and WOL support are available for connection to a fixed network. Separate image output on up to three monitors is possible thanks to the DisplayPort, DVI-I and VGA connectors. In addition, thee various ports allow for easy connection of the Mini-PCs to existing screen hardware. There is also a jack connector for audio output.

Easy Software Integration
To integrate the spo-book MOVE QM87 perfectly into existing software environments, the most popular Microsoft operating systems are again on offer: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and Windows 10 64-bit, in the Home and Professional versions. In addition, an individually customisable Windows 7 Embedded is available for special applications.
Anyone looking for a high-performance Vehicle Solution is in the right place with the spo-book MOVE QM87. The large set of special features leaves no wishes unfulfilled and makes this compact all-rounder into the perfect solution for use in all kinds of vehicles. The Mini-PC is available from 1 December 2016 and can be ordered on spo-comm.de in the desired configuration.
