Primion celebrates its 30th anniversary with social commitment in Sigmaringen

Giving back at 30 – this is the motto under which Primion Technology GmbH will be supporting selected social initiatives in its anniversary year 2025.

(pressebox) (Stetten, 2025-08-18) The first initiative is the St. Franziskus employment facility run by Caritas in Sigmaringen. The facility offers around 70 people with mental disabilities meaningful work, individual support and the chance to reintegrate into the primary labour market or find long-term employment in a protected environment. Tasks range from packaging work for international companies to services in printing, layout and administration, as well as training measures and municipal green space maintenance.

The facility has been using a time recording system from Primion since 2019. As part of the anniversary celebrations, the terminal previously used has now been replaced by a modern model, which was installed and set up on site by a dedicated service technician – much to the delight of the entire team. ‘The terminal is part of our everyday life. A reliable, modern system is really important to us,’ says Sascha Dienstknecht, workshop council chairman at the facility. The donation was welcomed as a ‘very positive initiative’.

The facility recently moved into a new, larger building: an important step, as the previous premises had reached their capacity limits.

The support in Sigmaringen is the start of further social projects by Primion. Primion has already submitted a proposal to extend time recording to other Caritas locations in the region. Further discussions are ongoing: ‘We see our anniversary as an opportunity to take responsibility and help where our solutions can really make a difference,’ says Francis Cepero, Managing Director CEO of Primion.
