(pressebox) (Tornesch, 2019-11-19) HellermannTyton, the leading manufacturer and supplier of products for fastening, fixing, identifying and protecting cables and their connecting components, today announced that the company has started manufacturing operations in Morocco.

The brand new facility, which specialises in the production of high quality injection moulded parts for application in vehicle wiring harnesses, is located in the Tanger Automotive City industrial zone, 25 km southeast of Tanger.

"Many of the wiring harnesses destined for vehicles sold throughout Europe are now assembled in North Africa", says Tim Jones, President of HellermannTyton Group. "Production and assembly at this site – our sixteenth factory worldwide – enables us to meet the growing local demand for our specialised parts more efficiently."

HellermannTyton is committed to serving its customer base as locally as possible and to reducing unnecessary transportation of finished products through an efficient distribution network.
