(pressebox) (Tornesch, 2018-03-06) HellermannTyton has expanded its RELICON product range with Religel Clear, which remains crystal clear after curing.

The new gel meets the requirements of engineers and installers for a transparent and label-free 2-component gel, which can be applied flexibly in any quantity.

Mixing the A and B components at a ratio of 1:1 is quick and easy. The gel flows excellently and cures in just 20 minutes at 23 °C, making it easy to work with.

When cured, Religel Clear is temperature resistant between -60 °C and +200 °C and has a dielectric strength above 24 kV/mm.

The silicone gel is suitable protects sensitive electronic components or cable connections against moisture and vibration. IP68 protection class is possible with appropriate junction boxes.

The gel’s transparency caters for optimum visual control of all applications. If necessary, the soft-elastic material can be removed without leaving any residue. Cured gel can be disposed of with regular household waste.

Religel Clear is available in leakproof 0.5 l and 1.0 l bottles as well as large 10 l canisters. A mixing cup and stirring stick are included.

Stored properly, the unopened components have an unlimited shelf life.
