(pressebox) (Germering, 2010-10-25) Right on schedule for the fall trade shows - GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH introduces the thumb sized two-line I²C-Bus display. Driven by the key board controller of the GCK-978 series, data can be displayed in two lines as 2 x 16 characters (5x8 dots) either stationary or ticker style. Whether product price information, directions or error messages: work- flow will certainly be more comfortable, more efficient and safer. The device is connected with only one cable - technical support and examples for optimal display control are available from GeBE.

Programming is easy and self explanatory

The series GCK-978 controller is suitable for key boards of various styles as well as peripherals such as touchpad, trackball, card Reader or a display. Programming is handled via the user friendly and self-explanatory Matrix programming tool. Based on a user defined application the GCK-978 discriminates whether data goes to the key board or the display.

The control board / I²C-Bus LCD display combination is supplied by GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH - also available in small number of unit orders.
