The controller boards of the GCK-978 series are ideal for popular technologies such as membrane, contact, and rubber keyboards. When the keyboard controller is connected to the USB interface of a Windows XP computer, up to 160 keys can be assigned through two function levels with 8x20 matrix dots each. The convenient GeBE tool was developed with the requests of various OEM customers in mind. Within a few seconds and without any programming knowledge, individual keys can be defined, or alternatively, they can be assigned macros or key combinations.
