Der Industriekamerahersteller IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH entwickelt modulare Konzepte leistungsstarker, besonders leicht zu handhabender USB, GigE und 3D Kameras mit großer Sensor- und Variantenvielfalt. Das nahezu unbegrenzte Anwendungsspektrum erstreckt sich über verschiedenste nicht-industrielle sowie industrielle Branchen des Geräte-, Anlagen- und Maschinenbaus. Visionäres Denken ermöglicht Lösungen wie die IDS NXT Plattform, dank der sich neuronale Netze direkt auf der Kamera ausführen lassen.

Seit der Gründung 1997 als Zwei-Mann-Unternehmen hat sich IDS zu einem unabhängigen, ISO-zertifizierten Familienunternehmen mit mehr als 330 Mitarbeitern weiterentwickelt. Der Hauptsitz in Obersulm, Baden-Württemberg, ist sowohl Entwicklungs- als auch Produktionsstandort. Mit Niederlassungen in den USA, Japan, UK und Südkorea sowie weiteren Repräsentanzen ist IDS international vertreten.
