Das Hamburger Software-Unternehmen hsp existiert bereits seit 1991. Zu Beginn war die Handels-Software-Partner GmbH auf ERP-Software spezialisiert. 2001 entwickelte die hsp als erstes Unternehmen eine reportbasierte Archivlösung, die aus Fremdsystemen aller Art GDPdU-konforme Daten auslesen kann: Opti.List.

Ende 2008 wurde beschlossen, dass die Übermittlung einer E-Bilanz per DFÜ verpflichtend wird. Daraufhin entwickelte das Unterhemen die umfangreiche Taxonomie-Software Opti.Tax. Durch eine Vielzahl von Modulen und Schnittstellen werden die Themen E-Bilanz, Verfahrensdokumentation nach GoBD, IKS, Bundesanzeiger, Creditreform-Ratings, TCMS und mehr abgedeckt. Erstellung, Bearbeitung und Übermittlung sind nun ohne Medienbruch möglich. Updates halten die Software kontinuierlich aktuell.
