BPR Setzkopf - Pressnieten von Kugelbolzen in einem Arbeitsschritt

Mit dem BPR (Ball Pin Rivet) Setzkopf werden Kugelbolzen und andere bolzenförmige Funktionselemente direkt bei der Kaltumformung der Blechteile in der Presse vernietet. Der Vorgang des Pressnietens erfolgt in einem einzigen Arbeitsschritt. Das vollautomatische System wird in das Stanz- und Umformwerkzeug integriert. Der Setzkopf verarbeitet Dünn- und Dickblech mit Blechdicken von 1 mm bis 5 mm. Über einen Schussschlauch wird der Setzkopf kontinuierlich mit Verbindungselementen versorgt.

Pressnieten – effektives Fügeverfahren für Kugelbolzen und andere Funktonselemente

Kugelbolzen müssen in ihrer Funktion als Kugelgelenke für Gasdruckfedern extremen Querbelastungen standhalten. Solche Funktionselemente werden in der Regel vertaumelt, verschweißt oder verschraubt. Diese Fügeverfahren sind jedoch relativ aufwändig.
