Internationale Motorrad-, Roller- und E-Bike-Messe
Die Intermot ist eine internationale Motorrad-, Roller- und E-Bike-Messe, die alle zwei Jahre in Köln stattfindet. Seit der Abspaltung von der ehemaligen führenden Fahrradmesse IFMA 1998 hat sie sich als internationale Motorradmesse etabliert. Mit der vollständigen Auflösung der IFMA 2008 wurde das Segment Motorrad in die Show eingegliedert und seitdem ist die Intermot die weltweit zweitgrößte Motorradmesse nach der EICMA in Rho, Mailand. Als eine der führenden Messen für Motorräder und als Trendmesse für Elektromobilität zeigt sie die gesamte Palette der Produkte für Motorräder und zusätzlich eine großes Spektrum an Zubehör und Bekleidung von Helmen und Schuhen über Regen- und Schutzkleidung bis hin zum Zubehör wie Gläser, Schals und Handschuhe. Die Intermot richtet sich sowohl an den Fachbesucher als auch an den Endverbraucher und überzeugt mit Produktneuheiten, Sonderschauen und Ausstellungen. Auf dem Außenbereich erwarten die Besucher, denen auf verschiedenen Teststrecken die Möglichkeit gegeben wird, ihre Fähigkeiten unter Beweis zu stellen, zusätzlich spektakuläre Stunts, Drag Racing und Demo-Rennen.
