On show at BSDA is an infantry fighting vehicle equipped with the Lance turret and the 30 mm MK30-2/ABM automatic cannon as main armament.
Air defence: Highly mobile, modular and scalable ground-based air defence systems are becoming increasingly important as NATO and European armed forces refocus on national and alliance defence. At BSDA, Rheinmetall will be showcasing the 35mm Oerlikon Revolver Gun Mk3 as a part of the Oerlikon Skynex Air Defence System, which can be mounted on various truck platforms.
HX logistics vehicle family Rheinmetall's HX logistics vehicle family is characterised by outstanding off-road mobility, versatility and a high, optionally available level of protection. This enables a wide range of applications from professional logistics to specialised tactical applications. An HX 3model will be on display at BSDA.
Soldier systems: Soldier systems integrate the individual combatant into networked operations management by means of end-to-end digitalisation. Rheinmetall is showcasing the latest generation of its Gladius 2.0 soldier system in different variants.
Ammunition Competence: Rheinmetall, one of the world’s foremost munitions producers, is accelerating its global expansion to strengthen sovereign defence capabilities across NATO and partner nations.
In the field of 155mm artillery ammunition, Rheinmetall plans to achieve an annual production capacity of 1.1 million rounds by 2027. This is set to be further expanded to 1.5 million rounds by 2030. For tank ammunition, a production capacity of 240,000 cartridges per year is planned from 2027. Medium-calibre ammunition is to be increased to 3.4 million cartridges by 2027 and to 4 million cartridges by 2030.
Rheinmetall is building a munitions network that is global in reach but sovereign in capability - ensuring Rheinmetall’s customers can depend on the Group for their most critical defence requirements, in any scenario.
Naval Systems: With the acquisition of NVL, Rheinmetall is now an all-domain, complete systems house. The new Naval Systems division, led by NVL B.V. & Co. KG, provides maritime solutions in surface shipbuilding. The division comprises four highly specialised shipyards in northern Germany: Blohm+Voss and Norderwerft in Hamburg, Peene-Werft in Wolgast and Neue Jadewerft in Wilhelmshaven. Internationally, the division has engineering offices and operations in Egypt, Brunei, Bulgaria, Croatia and Singapore.
As a specialist in the design and manufacture of technologically complex naval vessels and coast guard vessels, Rheinmetall’s Naval Systems division is responsible for the ongoing procurement programmes for the German Navy as well as for other NATO navies.
We look forward to seeing you at our BSDA stand C309!
