Zetes - Interim business report on 18 April 2008

(PresseBox) (Brussels, ) At the close of the first quarter, the Zetes Group has delivered a financial performance that is slightly better than forecast for its Goods ID division and in line with forecasts for its People ID division, which confirms the confidence of the Board of Directors in the guidance initially given for the 2008 financial year. The Zetes Group is expecting a 15% growth in turnover in Goods ID and 5% in People ID, which results in a total turnover for the Group of over € 200 million. Furthermore, the company has set itself the target of matching the 2007 EBITDA margins.

In Goods ID, the operational merger of Zetes French offices and of Interscan is currently underway. The commercial results are already visible with a strong growth in orders, still driven by warehouse voice technology.

In People ID, the major event of the past few months is the awarding of a 15-year contract to produce electronic passports in the Ivory Coast. In the long-run, this contract should generate revenue in excess of 60 million EUR.
