QSFP56 Steckverbinder für Data-Networking

Yamaichi Electronics erweitert die Varianten des QSFP Steckverbinders um den QSFP56 und setzt damit die Entwicklung von schnellen Data-Networking-Steckverbindern fort.

Der Host-Steckverbinder QSFP56, der HDR 200G Infiniband unterstützt, ist bereits in Serienproduktion und somit verfügbar. Er überträgt Signale mit einer Geschwindigkeit bis zu 56 Gbps je Kanal und entspricht als Card-Edge-Schnittstelle zum Transceiver-Modul den Normen SFF-8436 und SFF-8662. Die Yamaichi-Serienbezeichnung ist CN120.

Je nach Layout der PCB-Kontakte stehen zwei Varianten - Typ A und B - zur Auswahl. Der QSFP56 entspricht Typ A und entspricht mit 38 Kontakten den langsameren Vorgängern QSFP, QSFP+ und QSFP28.
