Hewlett-Packard chooses XCOM Africa GmbH as market entry partner for Nigeria

(PresseBox) (Bern/Willich, ) The multinational IT-company Hewlett-Packard awarded a contract to XCOM Africa GmbH as strategic consulting company for the market entry into Nigeria.

HP recognized the potential of the rising investments in IT-solutions on the African market and decided to bring its high end servers to Africa.

According to Alexander Boss of HP "the company sees great potential in Nigeira. With strong growth in retail banking, telecommunication and insurance companies there is a great demand for reliable servers. XCOM Africa has great contacts in the country and could perfectly support us with the market entry".

XCOM Africa was responsible for market research and networking with local banks in Nigeria. In this context, a workshop was organized with the intention to get HP's management in touch with African clients.

The customer workshop gave Hewlett-Packard a first impression of the banking sector in Nigeria and created the unique opportunity for local contacts, as a milestone for further business in West-Africa.
