WITTMANN combines facilities in Germany

Effective 1 October this year, the WITTMANN Group has merged its companies WITTMANN BATTENFELD GmbH & Co. KG in Meinerzhagen and WITTMANN Robot Systeme GmbH in Nuremberg into a single company.

The new company trades as WITTMANN BATTENFELD Deutschland GmbH, with its headquarters in Nuremberg. Klaus Ehlig, previously Managing Director of the injection molding machine facility in Meinerzhagen, has been appointed Managing Director and CEO of WITTMANN BATTENFELD Deutschland.

The merger of the two facilities under the umbrella of one company is intended to create a united and coordinated presence of the WITTMANN Group in the German market, and its
