Wincor Nixdorf subsidiary Prosystems IT takes on rollout and operation of 1700 office printers for Sparkasse KölnBonn

(PresseBox) (Paderborn, ) Prosystems IT has received a contract from Sparkasse KölnBonn to take on the complete rollout and subsequent operation of 1700 new workstation printers and multifunctional devices (print/copy/fax) within the framework of a Managed Print Service contract. Effective immediately, Prosystems IT will provide end-to-end service for a period of five years, monitoring and administering the devices in outsourcing mode. Sparkasse KölnBonn will profit from cost savings, a reduction in its in-house workload, and higher device availability.

Prosystems IT has been operating Sparkasse KölnBonn's decentral IT and all its self-service systems since 2006, and will build on this existing infrastructure with the new contract. All the workstation printers and multifunctional devices are connected remotely to the monitoring server at Prosystems IT to ensure around-the-clock real-time monitoring, including immediate problem reports and subsequent remote maintenance as well as automated consumables provision. As general coordinating contractor, Prosystems IT controls the entire process.

"It's our goal to improve the availability of our customers' systems continually through innovation and standardized processes, because that improves their service to their own customers. Our service concept offers Sparkasse KölnBonn a cost-effective way to standardize its processes. The bank benefits from significant savings, can concentrate completely on its core business, and doesn't need to tie up its own employees' time with maintenance and consumables provision for its systems. Our business relationship with Sparkasse KölnBonn goes back a long time. That experience and our service concept impressed the bank and were decisive factors in awarding us this contract," says Vassilios Timiliotis, Director at Prosystems IT.
