Innovative self-service project is a winner: Self-Service World Magazine award goes to Wincor Nixdorf customer Bundesagentur für Arbeit
The self-service project was launched in 2004 in cooperation with Wincor Nixdorf. 411 Wincor Nixdorf ProCash 2100xe self-service systems are now installed in BA branches and labor exchanges throughout Germany. This has resulted in a better service for benefit recipients, who are now paid immediately at the self-service system. The solution has been enormously beneficial to BA in terms of both time and costs. Payments no longer have to be made by check and system-oriented post-processing of the payment transaction can be dispensed with.
This year’s awards were presented on September 29 during the 2006 Self Service and Kiosk Show in San Antonio, Texas.
Shawna Miller, Managing Editor of Self-Service World Magazine and competition coordinator had this to say: “Self-Service World Magazine’s Outstanding Achievement Awards recognize solutions that have helped encourage the use of self-service technologies by positively impacting the industries in which they are deployed. And satisfying both sides of the service equation is definitely an outstanding achievement.”
Wincor Nixdorf also picked up a Gold Award in the Financial category for a project with Barclays Bank in England.
