Gregor Lehnert Group (UGL) supports Wincor Nixdorf's Cash Cycle Management concept
A closed cash cycle in banks and retail stores delivers economic benefits to everyone involved in the cash cycle. Wincor Nixdorf has developed an appropriate solution based on CINEO technology, enabling the use of standardized cash cassettes that can be exchanged between all CINEO systems. To ensure that optimal cash levels are available, Wincor Nixdorf relies on a forecasting and cash inventory optimization process for ordering cash, e.g. from the German Central Bank, in compliance with the mandatory CashEDI procedure introduced in January 2013.
The focus for all process steps and interfaces will be on ensuring high levels of quality and optimization to support an efficient and transparent cash supply chain. For example, BS-Beck Security Services can view all current and future cash supply requests via the clearly defined and existing interface to the Wincor Nixdorf eServices platform. The CIT services provider can access the cash data without any media discontinuity, and is able to exchange cash cassettes between cash dispensers, cash recycling systems and automatic teller safes at banks. Added to this is the further handling and counting of the cash from the cassettes in the banks' and retail companies' own cash centers.
This solution gives retail companies even greater transparency with regard to the cash cycle, and they benefit from the vastly improved cash management processes.
