Das Karlsruher Unternehmen Wibu-Systems AG stellt beim Deutschen Entwicklerpreis einen vorteilhaften Sachpreis im Wert von 1.650 Euro zur Verfügung. Der Deutsche Entwicklerpreis findet zum ersten Mal statt und prämiert am 12. November in Essen herausragende deutsche und deutschsprachige Computer- und Videospiele im Rahmen einer Galaveranstaltung.

Wibu-Systems will dem bisher noch unbekannten Gewinner der Kategorie „Beste Community-Betreuung“ für dessen Leistungen belohnen. Der Preisträger wird nach der Veranstaltung den Sachpreis, welcher die Digital-Rights-Management-Lösung CodeMeter und die dazugehörige Hardware umfasst, bekommen. CodeMeter hilft dem Preisträger, seine Spiele oder andere Software vor Raubkopien auf sichere Weise zu schützen.
