The German media entrepreneur Werner Mützel died on 20 March after a serious illness at the age of 77 years. Mr. Mützel founded in 1973 together with his wife Karin in Kissing near Augsburg the WEKA Fachverlag für Verwaltung und Industrie. Today, the WEKA Group comprises 23 media companies in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France and, with 1,500 employees, generates approx. 240 million EURO in sales. The group of companies is still owned solely by the Mützel family.
