During the Open House the visitors had the opportunity to experience five solutions live and under actual production conditions: the W+D BB300 - a highly flexible system which offers a wide variety of applications, especially in the field of direct marketing. As well as two W+D BB700's with system channels. These fast multi-format systems are ideal for applications in the transactional segment. Furthermore the latest developments and solutions of the parent company W+D AG - W+D 232 and ConceptD for printing envelopes and mailers using offset or digital printing.
"We are very satisfied with this successful event. More than 200 customers from all over the world reconfirmed their partnership with the new company and their interest in our extended added value chain. Current and potential customers had the chance to see for themselves that our product portfolio offers the performance and flexibility to stay ahead in a competitive environment," commented Reinhard Glade, Managing Director of W+D DMS.
The motto of the event - "We're starting a new chapter" - indicated that the host was placing a special focus on the restart. As of October last year, the provider of envelope inserting systems and fulfillment solutions for direct marketing and transactional applications changed the name from Buhrs-ITM to W+D Direct Marketing Solutions. What hasn't changed, however, are the high standards that the company wants to continue to meet in the future. In fact: As a part of W+D, the manufacturer of envelope inserting systems is more than ever committed to excellence, flexibility and service in every aspect of mailing and fulfillment solutions. The close relationship based on partnership with customers and the extended product portfolio - ranging from envelope machines and inserting systems to logistics solutions - will continue to guarantee maximum productivity.
