WBT Systems will continue to operate independently as an enterprise e-learning solutions provider. Customers and partners will continue to be supported and serviced, and the Company will continue to market and develop the award winning TopClass e-Learning Suite. Paul Dooley will remain at WBT as Chief Executive Officer.
Commenting on this recent news Paul Dooley said, “We see the acquisition as being very positive, not just for WBT, but also for our customers and partners. While WBT will continue to operate as an autonomous business unit, being part of a large publicly traded company means we have access to a wider pool of resources and provides an even greater level of financial stability than we previously enjoyed.”
Commenting on the acquisition, Horizon's CEO, Gary Coburn, said, "This bolt-on acquisition is consistent with our strategy to sharpen Horizon's focus on the enterprise solutions market.
