On 8 September, the new WashTec office in Jinshan, China, were officially inaugurated during an opening ceremony. With a larger site of almost 6,700 m², the new production facility is without doubt a milestone in the development of WashTec China.
"Our ultimate corporate objective is to maximise customer benefits. In order to be able to continue to deliver these and to further optimise the production processes, it was time to expand our production in China. This was possible thanks to the rising demand, the positive business development in China and, of course, to the confidence of the WashTec Group and WashTec shareholders in China as an important growing market of the future," explains Morten Dale, Executive Vice President at WashTec. "With the new production facility in Jinshan, we will continue the tremendous journey of WashTec China."
During the traditional Chinese opening ceremony, the ribbon was ceremoniously cut to mark the opening of the new production site in China. This was followed by a traditional lion dance. The lions symbolise courage. But they also stand for the fact that WashTec will in future continue to exploit development potential in the interests of delivering maximum customer benefits. After the ceremony, the guests took part in a guided tour of the factory and car wash facilities with WashTec experts.
