WAN-IFRA announces launch of the Media Management Accelerator

WAN-IFRA has launched an online learning platform designed to promote the development of new business models, train top talent in media companies, and pragmatically accelerate digital transformation in today’s ever-changing news ecosystem.

"The vast majority of WAN-IFRA members are small and mid-size businesses around the world. They will profit greatly from a user-friendly, easily accessible, agile, modern learning toolkit such as the Media Management Accelerator,” said WAN-IFRA CEO Vincent Peyrègne. “The broad reach of the online platform and the in-depth modules, combined with certification, will be a real boost for news professionals,” he said.

Thanks to financial support from Google's Digital News Initiative (DNI), the open platform allows WAN-IFRA to leverage its library of global best practice, insights and expertise via a panel of experts, offering a programme that will benefit all levels of rising talent and management in participating news organisations.
