Die neue Transfektionsreagenz TransIT®-2020 wurde von der Firma Mirus Bio Inc. speziell für schwer transfizierbare und primäre Zellen entwickelt. Erste Versuche (u.a. mit HEK293, CHO-K1, K562, primäre MEF's) haben gezeigt, daß mit TransIT®-2020 weitaus höhere Transfektionsraten erzielt wurden, als dies bei herkömmlichen, kommerziellen Transfektionsreagenzien der Fall war.
